Rainy Saturday and Za

Peter wasn't feeling well yesterday, so I got an account at Hollywood Video in Arlington Heights, and we rented three movies. First was Meet the Fockers, which was an ok movie, nothing special. The first was very laugh out loud funny, but I wasn't expecting that from this one after reviews I'd heard. I'm glad I didn't see it in the theatre, but it was a good movie for a rainy Saturday. Next we saw The Incredibles finally, I think we were the only people to have never seen it. It was much better than Finding Nemo, I really liked it. But again, it was nothing too special. It's not like I'm going to buy it any time soon. Finally we saw Bridget Jones. It was just like Meet the Fockers, an average sequel, didn't make me laugh like the first one did. The fight scene was very funny, but Tivo had a clip of it when the movie was in theatres, so it was nothing new. Colin Firth is beautiful though, he should be in every romantic comedy. A Real World London cast member was in the movie too, Jacinda. Peter made peanut butter cookies in the evening which are wonderful as always, and I think he's starting to feel better. A day of doing nothing has been good for him.

I have come to understand that some people haven't tried Za yet. You are all idiots if you have not, I hate to insult you, but it's true. Za is an excellent restaurant. Everything is cheap, yet you get great unique food. I keep having this mexican inspired salad that has cheese, avocado, black beans, chips and more in it. They also have weird pizzas with potatoes and pears and other unusual things on them, but they actually taste excellent, it all ends up going together really well. If anyone would like to try going there, I am more than happy to go with, I could eat there every night.
