It's a wooden pickle
I had my knitting class again today. There was another person there, I think her name was Maureen. She was knitting a sock, which is very hard, especially since she didn't even remember how to perl (for those of you who don't know, you learn this during your first class). To knit a sock, you use four needles at once. I watched in awe as she attempted this. Jackie had to keep fixing her problems, I don't think Maureen will be able to work on this project at home. I however started a baby hat. I bought my first circular needles, and it's a very easy project so far. I think it gets much harder later, but for now I just knit and knit and knit. I don't even perl. My second scarf is going pretty well. I repeated a line, but besides that it looks nice. After much thought I've decided to leave the mistake in there, I don't want to pull it all out. I may never get it done if I do that. I bought a counter anyway, so I shouldn't have that problem again.
Speaking of crafts, there is a new store Spark Crafts, located in Davis Sq, that has a ton of classes. I am thinking that I want to start sewing or quilting or something. Maybe make jewelry? I have no idea where to start. Does anyone want to join me in taking a class? These things are fun to do, but I think they'd be a lot more fun when you have someone to ooh and ahh over your project and to talk about it to. No one wants to hear me talk about my knitting. So if anyone is interested, I'm up for basically any class outside of knitting (I'm sticking to my knitting store, although you can join me there!).
