Soon we must all face the choice between what is right... and what is easy.

I finally finished reading the Half-Blood Prince. Wow. It was a very good book certainly, but I really wish what happened didn't. Anyone who knows me will understand after reading, but for those of you who don't, I can't say anything. Too many people who read this site aren't done yet, I don't want to spoil it for them. But I need to read the book again to make sure what I read actually happened. What a shocker.

I wrote this yesterday, was too upset to post. Since then I've come to realize that maybe there's more to the ending than I first believed. In fact, I've decided I need to assume that my theory (which many many others also have) is indeed the correct one. If not, I hate these books so much.

One of my major problems with people I know reading this blog is that I cannot always say what is on my mind because this will upset many and potentially ruin relationships. I think that's the major reason I haven't written in the past few days. I feel like in the last week I've had a lot of great experiences and more than one person has really shown great friendship towards me and I appreciate that.

I find this predicament I'm in rather funny actually because I found out yet another person reads this blog that totally surprised me, and I freaked out, thinking about all the times I've sworn or been crude or said inappropriate things. However, this person is one of the few who probably wouldn't hate me for the things I write (or want to write) in here.

In closing, I'd like to express my annoyance at people who freak out over silly things instead of what really matters in this world. Case in point, how awful it is that the lacrosse team from Northwestern wore flip flops when meeting the President. God forbid, our country has becoming more and more casual every year, this is no big surprise at all. Maybe these women didn't want their feet hurting all day, what is so wrong with that? There are much worse things out there, like why didn't my high school or college have a lacrosse team in the first place so we could have had such controversies?
