"Not that you're a dog, they generally have smoother hair."
Yesterday I didn't write anything on here. It's the first time I skipped a day in a very long time. I just had no energy. I'm so tired I can barely stand it. I hate pms. Oh, I'm not pregnant for anyone who I told I might be. Yeah, it sucks, but it'll happen one of these months. Or months and a half more like.
I've been meaning to write about something for a long time and kept forgetting because I am forgetful. The Adventures of Pete & Pete season 1 is now on dvd. I loved this show. I especially loved the tattoo on younger Pete's arm. Who couldn't love this show, with it's quirkiness and the boys with red hair, a favorite of mine in the 90s. Older Pete was also from RI, which makes him even more super and special for at least leaving the state. And don't forget Steve Buscemi was on this show, which increases it's coolness factor by 5.
Being reminded of this fabulous show made me think of others I loved during this time period. I loved Clarissa Explains it All. People only think of Melissa Joan Hart's other tv show, Sabrina the Teenaged Witch, but she will always be Clarissa Darling to me. I loved her parents too, they were super cool, I think they were former hippies. She also had the best bed ever, a canopy. I wanted a canopy throughout my childhood, and since Clarissa had one she was the super cool person I wanted to be. She also had great style, mixing and matching all these neat clothes. But my favorite person was definitely Ferguson Darling, the younger brother. Also a boy with red hair, he was the funniest person on tv at the time. He was like a young Michael Keaton, a devout Republican in a house full of liberals.
I also loved Erie, Indiana. I don't remember a thing about it, but I would only watch it at my father's house, which my brother and I rarely visited. We must not have had cable and he did, I don't know why else we couldn't watch it at home. But whenever we saw it on we were glued to the tv.
The Bunny Suicides are books, but I found they have a website as well. I thought I'd let you know the greatness of the depressed bunnies in case you don't know about them.
Also, I love muffins. Just in case you don't know never talk to muffin trees.
I am 26 years, 5 months, 1 weeks, 4 days, 16 hours, 46 minutes and 0 seconds old.

So, I'm not the only one who likes Clarissa a lot more than Sabrina?
PS: Your blog scares me! I guess I'll come back more often than I thought.
PPS: You'll never read this!
